‘The inspiration for this project comes from the happy dreams of my childhood and the pop culture of bling-bling stickers used to decorate cell phones. By enlarging the sticker’s size to decorate an entire building – to change the atmosphere around the building into a more fantastic world – ‘Bling-Bling’ will explore the boundary between the real and dream worlds and allow people to forget their worries, to imagine a more colourful place. When this building is covered with beautiful shiny stickers, it will be like a dreamland. It will not only change the building itself but also change people’s feelings about the Zuidas area, making it a place of dreams and bling-bling.’
